The Atlanta Metro Baptist Association
It is 97 years old, but absolutely 21st Century. For 97, years congregations of all sizes, shapes, styles, languages, and colors have joined hearts and hands locally to reach Atlanta for Christ. Now the Atlanta Metro Baptist Association is finding new ways, creative and innovative, relevant and practical to help congregations and their members tell His story across the street and around the world.
DeKalb Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit service organization founded on Christian principles. Its goal is to eliminate substandard housing from the face of the earth by building simple, decent, affordable housing. DeKalb Habitat now has 30 homeowners. DeKalb Habitat is funded through sponsorships and donations from churches, corporations, and individuals; and funds are used as designated by donors. DeKalb Habitat tithes 10% of its undesignated donations to build homes in developing countries.
